actually. i thought about it in class tonight and i remembered when i first got the car the temp control lever was stuck as in wouldnt go anymore to the hot side. it would stop in middle but would go all the way to the cold side ( a/c doesnt work leaks so it didnt matter haha) then i got pissed and pressed hard and i think i may have broke the temp cable... could this be a possibility? cause i have noticed no matter which way io slide it there is no difference in hotter or colder at all. A bad t-stat wouldn't cause your heat to suck. The coolant that flows through the heater core come staight from the engine. (hot) You said that it "isn't hot at all", i'll assume its hotter the the outside air temp.

You should flush your heater core. For the most part coolant isn't changed yearly like it should, and crap builds up over time.

Use your imagination and connect a garden hose to either side of the heater core and flush it out. It be most effective to attach the hose to the exit on the core BAck Flushing... GL

If the thermostat is stuck open wouldnt it allow the engine to not heat up enough? That would cause crappy heat..

t-stat or heater core. If it's your cable then pull the radio out and you can reach it this ay or you can take the whole dash off.
