Hey drifterz,

I was flipping through the FSM and noticed that it didn'treally mention the general lube points especially for the suspension (RA-19).

The steering page (ST-16) shows some grease points, but it looks like it is for installs.

Do i just find all the rubber bushings and ball joints and hit it with silcon?

Comments questions appreciated.

Thanks in advance.Cheers,DK

your bushings need to be greased (esp if they're poly) where they contact metal. Metal on metal needs lube as well. Your ball joints for the most part are sealed. If they're busted open, it's time to replace it. If they're totally flattened out, they're probably dried out and need replacing. Use a general purpose grease, you can find it over at kragens if you live in SF.

Cool thanks.

I'll pick up some GP grease and a can of Silicon spray.

The GP grease for metal to metal contact. And the silicon for any rubber bushing.

From what I can remember, you shouldn't use GP grease on the rubber bushings.

Does that sound like a good plan?

Thanks,DK
