^ Definitely this. Change oil/filter every 3k miles. KA24's last a looooooooong time if they are properly maintenanced.
After 200k any engine will most likely need valve seals, worn shims, rod/main bearings sooner or later. Usually first to go but if you don't drive like a maniac, they will last longer. The 91 ka (blueprinted?) is the best engine to have. My buddy drove for 290k before replacing rod bearings. Took them out only 2 were bad the others were almost perfect.
