Okay so I installed a spec stage 3 clutch. After I broke it in it stated making this horrible whining noise when I would press in the clutch pedal. The noise would get worse as I released the pedal until the pedal was fully released which the nois would stop. Eventualy this noise stopped but I noticed that my car no longer shifts into 2nd above 5k rpms. This is serioisly slowing me down. My shift time is like 2 secobds from 1 to 2. Im not sure what I can do to fix this or if the whining had anythi g to do with it. I know that my master is dircetly connected to my slave and that my clutch pedal is adjusted to where the push rod is almost fullly unscrewed from it. Im not sure if my clutch is just not full disengaging or if my synchros are going bad. It also grinds when power shifting into fourth. I am thinkin bad master or slave or Pressure plate is ruined from a stuck throwout bearing or bad synchros. Any help is appreciatd. Btw I sent this from my phone so take it easy on my typos lol. Thanks again NICOers

I hope it's not a bad pressure plate. I was going to say it was a bad throwout bearing, but you typically can really hear that when the clutch isn't depressed and you're idling in neutral.
It could also be that your Spec Stage 3 clutch isn't playing well with your flywheel, but I'm not quite sure. I'm not quite as well versed with transmission troubleshooting.
I'm sure someone with more experience will step in and help out.

I would have someone look at the slave cylinder and monitor its behavior while you push the clutch pedal. if you have it in gear with the clutch pedal pushed in do you hear a noise? Does the noise go away if you take it out of gear with the clutch pedal still pushed in? Does it ever pop out of gear?

when you installed the clutch you should have done the fork, pilot bushing and throw out bearing. If you would have done that and still had this problem you can narrow it down to free play adjustment and the rod adjustment.

Well I didnt put in the clutch a shop did. I told them to look over the fork and unput shaft and everything else to just make sure i didnt need to replace them while the transmission is dropped. The throw out bearing was thrown out and replaced as wel.ll. Fhe noise im going to try but im pretty sure my transmission is quite except for the occasionall grind going into fourth.

No nosie really coming from the transmission when I shift from ingear to neutral... Om gonna put some redline mt90 in monday and take it from there I guess
Edit... So I really listened to my transmission when its idling and I put it in gear and out of gear it makes a clicking noise like the sound of the gears going together

one of two things: could be that you are losing pressure in the direct pressure area in your gears or you could be losing pressure when the fluid gets warm or hot. I'd suggest making a trip to the transmission shop if nothing else.
