Alrighty... Bought this S13 about a month back and need to fix some peripheral problems. First off, the temperature gauge is not working. Sometimes it will hover in the middle when supplied with power, but usually just sits there and does nothing. I had an aluminum radiator installed, so I am not terribly concerned about temp, but its nice to know! I checked a PDF version of the 240 manual I have, but does not provide sufficient information on how to take things apart and get to the problem area. I am assuming it is simply faulty wiring, but how do I get to it without ripping apart the dash? Next... Another wiring problem, is the AC fan speed control. I have again used my 240 manual to narrow the problem down to the resistor used to control speeds 1-3, since speed 4 works, and that is the only wire control that bypasses the resistor. But how do I get to that dern resistor? Where the heck is it?? Any help would be greatly appreciated... I searched the forums and found similar problems, but nothing that really touched the problems I seem to be having.

Before you start taking your dash apart, I'd check the actual temp sensor for the gauge. Check the CTS while you're at it. They're located next to each other in the front of the intake mani.

PS - I'm in Houton right now, roads are still worse then most of the war-torn countries I've been in...

Aye, my last vehicle, an old toyota corolla seemed to just rattle apart at the mercy of these dern roads. Florida was much better (and much cleaner) because of fewer roads but large DOT budget. "They" say that the roads are so bad because the "underlying terrain is unstable." Yeah, bunch of BS... but anyway, I will take your suggestion and see what I can do... thank you for your help, and safe travels.
