91 240sx hatch temperature gauge heats up fast. 5 mins just on idle. normal?

i dont know if this is normal but when i start up the car for the first time everyday to warm it up just on idle my temperature gauge goes up to half way after about 5 mins just on idle.

is this normal for a 240sx?

or is my car overheating too fast?

a problem? or am i just worrying too much?

Sorry i have been having a lot of problems with my 240sx. This is the first time i have owned one and even though i am going through all these problems with it, i still love the car. But i am going to do whatever it takes to get the car running perfect. I thank all the people that have helped me with all my car problems. Each day i worry about the car and the last thing i want is someone in the forum telling me to F**k off because they dont care.. However that doesnt bother me too much but i'd appreciate it if i didnt get anymore negativity. Come on guys just be nice and if u cant be nice then just try and not post anything at all. Try not to make it any harder on the person who is having a hard day. Thanks thats all i needed to say. *hugs* all around.
