91 240sx digital speedo / hud problem

hey guys,

i just picked up a 91 240sx coupe .. it has a Digital speedometer and Heads up Display.

Neither the Speedometoer nor Hud work..(everything else works , rpm all gauge lights etc) Thats the way i bought the car ..

Whats steps do i take to find out where the problem is ? is it like a fuse or something minor?

I wonder if this capacitor controls both cluster and HUD unit. I'd give it a try.
