91 240 horn going crazy, new purchase

hi any help would be greatly appreciated just bought a 91 240 and they guy told me he had unhooked horn cuz it wouldnt stop goin off and i dont know how to hook it back up to see if its still doing it and i tried to see if there is some sort of relay or switch to replace but there isnt need to get inspection and need horn please help thanx drew

Most likely he simply pulled the wires from the horns on the front of your car. Under the hood, in front of the radiator. Hook them back up and let us know if you go deaf because they are still on.

yes horn still goes off nissan dealership says its prolly sumthin electrical but its 75 bux just to check it out anyone have any ideas thanks much

the rubber panel in the middle of the steering wheel has a thin metal plate supported by a layer of foam rubber. If the plate got bent, or if the foam is rotted, the contacts could be shorted. Pull the panel off and take a look, you might have to remove a small philips screw from the back side of the bottom spoke.
