Hi guys I'm building a ka24de(t) but I currently don't have a turbo to run on my s13. Does anyone know the spark plug gap I should use in the meantime until I get the turbo. I've been reading that a stock KA take .044 and a turbo KA takes .35 and below. Now I'm not stock as per the over bore so what should I stick with as far as spark plug gap Please help.

If you're N/A, I'd run the stock gap. Lower it when you go turbo. What size turbo and how much pressure you run will dictate your starting plug gap (you can adjust from there if needed).

You should probably run factory timing until you go turbo. You want to burn as clean as possible so you don't have a bunch of excess fuel deposits.

in another question i have a header from a friend and i want to use it but the part that hooks up to the downpipe does not match i know a bunch of people are going to tell me not to waste money on n/a exhaust parts. problem is the oem exhaust is kinda messed so it needs replacement.

Question is does anybody know what downpipe will fit this header ive seen one that looks like it might but im not sure so i don't want to buy it and be wrong.

The header is made for an S14 KA, which had a different downpipe than the S13. If you get an S14 DP, you should be fine (as long as that header is meant to bolt to the factory one and not it's own designed DP). I honestly can't remember if SR downpipes will work or not. What brand is the header?

Not sure on the brand of the header but I did some research it can be like a Megan racing imitation. Also what kind of bolt can I buy to cap the EGR valve on this one I know the knickle trick but I'm afraid of it melting and ruining the header
