90 to 97 Nissan Hardbody Front Grille, Bumper, Lower Valance

Ive Search and have seen many threads talk about it but never really answering the basic question wether or not its direct bolt on or if some modification needs to be done.. ex: (hood,fenders)... i have a 90 hardbody and want to add the 97 style grille, bumper and lower valance.. Question is will it fit or if some mod gots to be done.. seems to me like it will fit just by looking at photos.. but before i go ahead and purchase items online id like to be sure.. any help would be greatly appreciated.. im also new here and will be posting photos of my project soon.. thanks =

I don't know the answer, but I'll be happy to measure things on my '97 if that will help.

thanks man.. i ve seen many hardbodys my year that have the upgraded front end.. and visualy it seems the same.. but behind it all the brackets could be different so i dont want to get into something i cant handle.. so any help is deffinetly appreciated..

I'm definitely interested in doing this as well, and wondering if the parts from a Pathfinder will swap over, also. There's a couple of Pathfinders in the local U-Pull-It, so I have access to them.

Everything should fit but you will need the later style bumper brackets. Honestly I hate the later valance, makes the truck look like it is wearing its pants too high. I swapped mine out for one off an earlier model which so happened to have mounting provisions for my Trucklite ICC light bar. As for everything else it should all bolt with in, the grilles all mount the same way as well.

Pathfinder lights will require the entire bucket assemblies along with the grille. The parking lamps will interchange.

I just got a pair of perfect condition OEM Halogen Pathfinder lights at the U-Pull-It today for $26, for the pair. They look almost brand new. They were having a 50% sale on everything in the yard. I was going to get the grill too, but it was broken.

Good find on the P-Finder lamps, wish I could find a set. I am still looking. I have everything but the lamps.

So did it take any mods to make the 97 bumper fit on a 1990?
