Hi I'm looking for a solution to an odd problem. I have a 90 stanza that stumbles and hesitates when coming off idle and also idles low. It was idling at around 300 since have got it up to 500, should be 750? After that if I pump the accelerator I can find a sweet spot and it revs all the way up. It does this whether thetransmission is in gear or not. Replaced plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor, air filter, fuel filter, fuel hoses, all vacuum hoses i can find, new fuel pressure regulator, new Throttle Position sensor, PCV valveCleaned MAF sensor, Cleaned and tested AAC Valve, Cleaned and tested AIV, Cleaned and tested EGR Valve Cleaned and installed intake manifold and plenum with new gaskets, cleaned and tested SCV EGR passages were heavily clogged with soot. Tested many more components.
Presently I suspect the distributor crank angle sensor? how is this supposed to work? I have four wires:black red white and greenwith everything plugged in and ignition on i hav blk to red 11 volts, blk to wht 0 volts blk to green 0-5 volts alternating off to on when distributor is turned.
