Ok, I got an intermittent bog on acceleration... Car has always idled funny, but never had major problems... Recently had a bucking issue and was dying quite frequently... replaced the distributor assy, cap and rotor... been running fine for a few days, but earlier tried to go dead on take off... but ran fine after. Has new fuel pump also.

What sensor would control the acceleration.. perhaps the MAF choking out or something.. doesnt seem to related to warm or cold operation that I have noticed.

So main concern at this point... inconsistent idle and intermittent bog on acceleration. Any ideas on where to start first?

Thanks in advance!

You might want to check the connections to your MAF... b/c that could cause you some problems as it does sound like a possible MAF issue - I'm currently trying to troubleshoot my problematic MAF sensor (or maybe just the car in general)... Good luck w/ yours!
