i have a Manual 90 240sx w/ 145xxx miles ive replaced just about all the obviouse , spark plugs, o2, cleaned MAF, cap, rotor, plugs, coolent temp. snsor, oil sensor, tried to adjust timing, cleaned throttle body, changed pcv valve, and my car still runs real bad , it surges hesitates, accelerates slowly and lags at times i get about 16-18 mpg and ai have a pretty bad fuel smell, i tried changing 2 fuel injectors which seemed to be leaking and it helped a lil for about 2 days then just got worse. at idle my engine shakes pretty bad ( misses alot) and i had to turn my idle speed up because it started ideling at 550 rpms, i would really appreciate yur help as no one has been able to help me for 5 months now. if it helps latley when i turn my ac on the car barley runs, but this just recentley happened if been battling the other problem since i bought the car. Smells like a MAFS issue to me. Wiggle the plug or try a different MAFS. A MAFS issue reamed me for 2 or 3 weeks before it was discovered and the ECU wasn't tellin me jack. Try that one if you've got nothin else to try

check your wiring to your maf for good ground, there are several threads in here covering that. try a search for MAF as well as coolant temp connector.
