90 sohc 240sx with stanza ecu boggs at 2500 rpm in or out of gear

So you guys know I just put in auto ecu from a stanza in my 240,the car was running great on the number 10 ecu I pulled. Then I put in the stanza ecu, felt great for about ten miles come home and leave . Start driving and the car cant rev past 2500 in or out of gear.WTF? Please any help would be great my search results are not bringing much info but I'm continuing to search.

check the maf..your symptoms seem like a maf problem.

try puttin ur old ecu in and see if it works...

What is the entire number off the Stanza ECU (just to make sure its the right year)? Should be in a format like A11 - A95 E60.

Also, try checking the ECU codes, you may be throwing some. Procedure is the same as the 240sx, but instead of green and red, there are long red and short red.

Like i said in a previous post, the Stanza will run RICHER than the 240sx, and the timing is way more conservative. If you are looking for performance, they only thing you will get out of the Stanza ECU is the ability to wire in a consult board to datalog, then you pull the EPROM and start tuning it yourself. Sign up on HybridKA's ECCS forums and start poking around there, there is a LOT of information there.

my first thought was the maf, this morning everything is better and all I did was remove the kick panel and wire secure piece the entire number is 35 A11-B85E110614
