Hello. I need help with an alternator replacement for my 90 sentra. I've been searching for a while and finally gave up, so I registered here lol. I need to source a 120A or higher alternator for a stereo system I'm getting ready to install. Can anybody help me out? Assuming I find an alternator, would it create more parasitic draw? I don't want to lose any HP if I can help it. Thanks.

Welcome to NICO!
Sounds like you have a pretty hardcore stereo system.

I'm not familiar with where to find an alternator like you're looking for, however I can answer your horse power question.
If the new alternator pulley is larger, you may lose some small amount of power, but nothing all too noticeable.

Thanks. Yeah, it's a good one, but nothing crazy. Clarion CZ702, 4 Polk DB6501 speakers and a Punch P2 12". My total RMS wattage will be 600. Without the sub, the system will be pulling as much as 30A continuously with a peak draw of 60A. Double that when you include the sub, but I'm not sure I'll put that in considering the power of the speakers. Either way, it's not good for a car with a 70A alternator lol. I'm hoping to get something that produces at least 120A at idle to work along with a capacitor.
