The problem started recently, when I first got the car about two weeks ago, it would have trouble cranking sometimes in the morning, like it was struggling to crank. I would assume starter (since I already replaced one in my old car), but the kid I bought it from said it has a new starter, and when I put it on the lift I glanced at it and it was the cleanest looking thing under the car lol.

Within the past day or two the car won't crank at all (usually after sitting over night, although it did it today after driving home from work and then going out about 30 min later). I turn the key as to crank, but nothing, I have power to everything. The weird thing is, if I try it a few times, or cycle the key from the off to crank position a few times, it'll start up like nothing was wrong. She drive's fine and I actually adjusted the ignition timing, she was a little off and drives better than she did. Any ideas?

sounds like the contacts in the ignition switch are going bad. By pass the switch and see if it starts up normally.

I was thinking the switch, but I me and my boss were also questioning the starter. Cause the kid who had the car before me is a magazine mechanic and 'tried' to drop the car, wrong spring, loose bolts...never mind, tooo much to get into with that crap lol. It started fine for me all day today, next time it goes up for it's oil change, Ima check and make sure all the connections are tight.
