90 S13 w/ KA24E engine problem!!

Ok my motor is being gay

Heres the problem:Sometimes it start, sometimes it doesnt.When the car is running and I give it gas the RPM drops down to like 200rpms and just wants to die. And then when I turn it off and try to turn it on again, it wont start . I have to wait like a day or twoIve checked spark and fuel, vacuum lines, etc seems to be fine.Also when the car is running and I rev it up to 4k-5k rpms theres black smoke.

When I do get it started, the first 5 minutes it drives fine, but after that when I get to a traffic light or stop light and give it a little gas and release the clutch, the RPM just drops and idle jumps up and down like crazy from 400-1100rpms

hmm it sounds like your alternator or some kind of electrical ignition problem. i would start with the alternator and then move on to the distributor, wires, plugs, etc. i hope this helps man.

yeh I got my alternator checked and it fine, also checked wires, plugs and distributor...

It did once last summer, and I just parked it...started it the next and worked fine untill a week ago. Now it does it everyday
