'90 S13 Antenna replacement

Hello,I have a question for anyone out there that would know, but especially 180sxfan. I need to replace my antenna on my '90 S13 that was broken off when i got the car, so water leaks in. I have a replacement, I just need to know a detailed way of going about taking out the old one and getting the new one in. I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

BTW if anyone (180sxfan) could elaborate on a how-to on window moldings, it would also be much appreciated, i have another leak on my passenger side where the window doesnt exactly seal. Thanks.

removal is easy. so is searching. I did a write-up on how to replace the power antenna with a fixed antenna a few weeks ago. Follow the removal in the link, and then just do the reverse for installation.

the window mold problem is just the rubber seal at the top of the window not sitting right. Check it and make sure it's flush with the edge of the roof. I had a problem on my soft top where the windows were causing the rubber to bunch up when i rolled the windows up and let in water that way.

hi,thanks for the quick link. I know i could have searched the foroum, but I had talked with the member 180sxfan before and he had recently replaced his or something and he was going to tell me a good method after the stormy weather cleared up a while back. Its all good. Thanks for your quick and helpful input! BTW about the window molding, mine is old and looks as though it has been cracked or torn and the window doesnt line up and make a seal, i was told by 180sxfan to get window moldings @ a local auto supply store and cut to fit. Can you be of any help on this problem i have? I appreciate it.
