Hi all,

Have yet another weird problem. When I accelerate from a dead spot (not necessarily hard) I hear a swishing sound like water or coolant is moving from the front to the rear... My coolant level is fine and I've replaced all the coolant lines and nothing leaking. I was going to replace my thermostat (again) as it seem to take forever to warm up. I've also replaced my water pump, fan blade and clutch. Not sure what this sound is. I've also tried putting the heater all the way up to open the valve and all the way down to see if there was a difference that the heater valve may cause and nothing...

My cousin's 94 doesn't make it but he has his own problems with water always dripping from the car. I think it's his a/c but I've never known a car to leak so much water.

And both of our car's electric fan NEVER come on... I don't think either work. When should they be come on?

Thanks!

Danniel

AC precondenser pusher fan [1990 single speed 1992 2 speed] is controlled by coolant temperature depending on whether compressor is on or not [low coolant temp engagement when ac on].

In 1994 new 3 speed fans shifted to direct control from ecu.

Regardless 194F is the point where the fan first engages in slow or only speed.

The coolant temp sensor is just at head output vs the rad coolant sensor which is after rad cooling and on the input feed to engine. [driverside lower-middle of end tank]

Make sure your evaporator closet is draining. Water under the car is condensation form atmosphere from cooling.

Thanks Dennis, I've have replace my ECU temp sensor but not the coolent sensor... both are on the top front of the engine right? My temp gauge works as it will show when it's warmed up or do you think the sensor might not be working right at cooler temps? Also what do you think about my swishing sound, have you heard of this before?

Thanks!

Hi Maxnix, what do you mean by "evaporator closet is draining"? I know the water is cause by water in the air contacting the cooling lines but it almost a stream, never seen a car produce so much water. I told my cousin to take it to the desert so people can have a drink! lol

Thanks!

An actual stream of fluid is indicative of something seriously wrong.
