I have a strong feeling that my brake master cylinder is leaking/dying.(The reservoir is fine)Can anyone provide a pic of theirs so I can see if the brake lines go in the same side as a JDM one.I may need a replacement from the US if this is the case...Possibly a part number?any help would be appreciated. Please don't ask if I am sure that the master is dead.I have had a nissan mechanic give the car a once over, and he agrees, due to the poor brake performance, and dissolved paint flaking off the booster below the master.Good pics and a part number would be the best help.Cheers!

I'm pretty sure Wes has one from when he was comparing the Z32 MC to the G50 MC, he's out getting an alingment and then off tot the auto show, so it may be this evening (~6 hours from now) before here sees this.

there were 2 types of MC's made by nissan..... Tokico and Nabco... They used the tokico in the 90-93 and the nabco in the later ones..

In the 90-91 they used the 17/16in Tokico... in 92 they used a 1in tokico... In the 93+ they used a 1in Nabco...

You can tell the difference by the tokico has the front and rear brake fittings right next to each other, the nabco has one on the side and one on the bottom....

The Z32 MC for a 90-91 is going to be the same, 92 is gonna be kinda iffy, 93+ will all be the same.....

Just look for the tokico or nabco thing on ebay...

Hers a part number..

17/16in Tokico- 46010- 60U101in tokcio- 46010- 60U111in nabco- 46010- 67U20

(BTW Rex was right, i was getting an alignment done but they ran into some problems getting the rear control arms loose so thats why im here and i also may not get ot go to the car show due to the alignment)..

YES - Japanese (RHD) master cylinders have the port on the LEFT, US market (LHD) master cylinders have the port on the RIGHT.

The brake line fittings into the master are next to each other, so mine must be a nociko. But from what RobertsnewQ says..... My lines come in on the other side compared to yours...

With the hood open, standing in front of the car, my booster is on the left (obviously), and the lines come out from the right side, leading/pointing towards the center of the engine bay.

So is my understanding correct that the US ones have the booster on the right, and the lines come out of the left side, pointing/leading to the center of the engine bay? (which would mean its opposite to mine)

confirmed its a tokico....
