There's a copy of the 1990 Q45 'coffee table' book for sale on eBay. I purchased my copy from the same source several years ago.

This isn't the infamous service manual is it?

No way José. Too thin and pretty. The shop manual, she is thick and plain.

There is also a copy of the special Road and Track issue for sale about the Q45 and M30 that was published around the time Infiniti launched. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...y=418 It's actually a lot more interesting than the coffee table book IMO.

Hey , I got this book as a gesture from my dealer G.M. when I bought my 91Q 8 years ago. After my father-in-law saw my car and read this book , he bought a 92Q about a year after me . Ofcourse we both still drive ours today .Also my friend and neighbor bought his 94Q 3 months after driving mine .

I have the coffee table book and it is very cool. I got it off eBay from an individual for a lot less....

My only gripe is that the pictures only show the Q with the "t" wheels and a spoiler. I like the pie pan wheels and no spoiler better.

But a good purchase for the Q freak. I look forward to browsing through the book 30 years from now.

Hope you get it Fred! Then I can steal it for a bit if I'm ever in your neck of the woods. :)

If somebody has some server space, I can probably scan mine. It has a lot of interesting information about the development of the car, good pictures, concept photos etc. No mention of why they thought an auto transmission without a cooler or plastic chain guides were a good ideas though. :)
