90 Pathfinder w/ bogging power loss over 3000 Rpm

The condition seems to occur mostly when I have stopped the vehicle for a few minutes but not long enough for a full cooldown. EX. I drive to full warm up temp (7 min or longer usually) ... I stop to go into a store or put gas in or any number of other short (3 to 20 min) tasks. When I restart there is a horrible bogging and stumble at around 3000 RPM. A complete loss of power but the engine doesn't die. Anyone have any thoughts on what might be causing this?

Please help me.
