hey guys i did a few searches and really didnt come up with the answer i needed.. so i have a 90 path, manual trans, 4x4, 6 cyl. My tailights and dashlights are out, but my stop lamps, headlights, and blinkers work. I checked the fuses (both) underdash and they check ok, i even replaced them and check them with a test light. I dont see anything under the hood that relates to the problem, and i checked for a glove box light and there wasnt one. winter is coming so that means our nights are getting shorter and i need to have my lights :bs:

Alarm system? Interlock may be open. Check also your dash dimmer is at max. Is lic plate light on? Check fuse holder for dirt.

If an alarm system is (was) used that alarm interlocks (controls the lights blinking). Do you have a schematic for your car, if so find what and where the lights are fed from, might be a relay, tie in a block set and should be fused. If all fuses check good be sure to check fuse holders as they get dirty and often stop the flow of electrons. Also check your ground wires, to each light and the main ground and negative of the battery.
