90 nissan pickup auto trans problem

hey guys i got a 90 nissan auto trans made a clunk and wne tout so i put another trans in and it seemed fine then a few miles down the road it just lost all gears except park all other seems like they are in nuetral any ideas? cant figure out why it ddropped all gears like that i don t have any knowledge about the tcm ? any idea?

I don't know your level of expertise very well..

Did you put in a new pilot bushing? You be that the output shaft is not aligned properly? Did you get the torque converter crammed in there as tight as it can fit?

Yeah, sounds like a torque convertor issue... maybe the TCC (convertor clutch) is having issues? Could be a lot of things. What exactly did you take out/replace in the transmission swap? Did you remember to bolt the convertor back to the flywheel?
