Had my z for a little over a month ago. Bought is with the infamous lifter tick. It has been lowered w/ no camber adjustments in the front. It has the invader/veilside bodykit in need of restoration. It has 154kish miles on it.

Since I bought it I have changed the drive/acc belts, flushed engine oil and replaced w/ 5w30 royal purple, changed 2 bad tires (assuming from bad camber on front, they were rotated to the rear when I bought it).

1. I still have a loud squeeking from belts when I start it, I rev it to 3kish and they quiet down, that is one concern of mine.
2. Camber correction is another concern, I have put 500+ miles on the new tires and theres nothing noticable on the inside tire wear being any different that I can see.
3. I know Ill probably get flammed for this but I have not changed the timing belt yet. I did take the covers off and look, I didnt see any rough areas or teeth broken or ripped. I can see the teeth pattern on the top of the belt, not horribly though.
4. Planning on doing some minor bodykit repairs, gona pull the front bumper off this weekend and sand it down, need to find something to fix the bolt-on locations for it though, some1 towed the car and obviously disreguarded the fact that it was lowered w/ a bodykit on it.
5. When I take it to about 3,500 - 4,000 rpm in 1st and shift into 2nd, it will spudder like its choking kindof. Anybody ever had that problem? Kindof like a choke/spudder delay from about 1700rpm - 2800rpm.
6. It also smells like it is running pretty rich too. Gas mileage isnt "economical" and like I said, you can smell it easily if I pull up next to you if your standing outside.

Any advise is appreciated, Im located in Augusta, GA right now if anybody is local and knowledgable with these cars would be nice. Im also curious if anybody might know anything about the origin of the car (just curious) it has a California cutout plate under the bumper, had "Z-MAN" on the back over the nissan symbol. All red w/ big wing and the invader kit. Drilled/slotted rotors, idk was brand 5 spoke rims gold-colored. Thanks.

1. you didnt get the belts tight enough, the power steering belt si particularly difficult to get right
2. take ti to an alignment chop and they can tell you how far otu it is and if it's enough to worry with
3. it's your gamble to make, just remember, if that $40 belt breaks, it's a $2000 repair job
4. body kits are for ricers you're on your own there
5. maf, tops, could be a number of things start by checking the ecu fro codes
6. see #5, might be a sinsior issue, or a misfire or a dead cylinder or as simple as a bad spark plug but codes forst then verify that the car is idling on all 6 cylinders, and no these are not economical cars to drive, expect teens int he city and low 20's o the highway, if thats nto enough, buy a civic and put a body kit on it ;)
