Hey all. Having problems with my heater and combination gauge. They are intemittent as to when they work. The dash light is completely out. Was thinking volt regulator in meter assembly but not sure if that would affect the heater. Any one think they can help me. Will post a pic of m30 blacked out, love this car

A bit more information. It seems for the heater, if I drive for a bit 15 to 30 min it turns on and works so possibly a charging problem. Just stumped as I haven't had a lot of experience with this cars electrical systems. Wanting to change out the entire combo meter but he'll if I can find the whole unit. Any suggestions or insight would be appreciated. Thx
