90 ka24e running ruff

I got a 90 240sx with a ka24e and the guy i bought from hacked the emissions. Now when i start it it acts like it is misfiring but i have changed the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor button and changed the maf sensor but no luck. i did see that the egr pipe that is supposed to go into the header was cut off and just pinched. so could that be the problem. please help really need it

sounds most likely like the egr pipe u mentioned. your ecu is going crazy cuz there is more air going in than it is measuring thru your maf. try to get someone to weld it shut.
