$90 Good price for Holset HX40 turbo?

Is that a good price for a used one?? I might be able to get 2 for $150-175 If its a good deal.... i want to pick them up tomorrow if you guys think its a good deal??? LOL Thanks and does anyone know what the max psi/hp output of one Holset HX40 turbo is???

Any Turbo is good for 90$ but you might have to rebuild it at that price, if u can even rebuild those turbos. Ive seen holset HX40's retailed brand new at 800$. Hp output is 175-350. Not to be a douche but search next time.

^ wow your wrong. sounds like you need to search next time too.

yes 90 dollars is an excellent price on an hx40. just get you a rebuild kit and go with it. HX40 will net you around 600hp. and as far as PSI, more than you need... usually the stock internal wastegates are set at around 25psi if that says anything.

if it came off a auto it has a 17 psi w/g act, if it came off a 5spd dodge then it has a 22-23psi w/g act depending on the year,

youll see spool around 4k on a ka, its little large for most street cars, but id buy one for 90 and re-sell it no doubt

dont forget you could always buy the bullseye .71 A/R housing or whatever size it is for it if you wanted it to spool quicker
