Hi everyone. I got something I'm trying to find at no avail. I've searched everywhere for it. I am looking for a 90 degree hose 1/2 ID power steering hose that needs to be at least 2 inches on each side of the bend so i can cut it back. Now before everyone says just get an adapter, no adapter will fit b/c the area is too close together. I've found radiator coolant hose that has a perfect 90 degree angel but i've been told that will be eaten away over time by the power steering fluid. So anywhere?

Try a local hydraulic hose shop? I am sure they will have anything and everything you need.

Then it's time to move to a metal fitting.

That's a tight bend.

Agreed about a hose shop. That might be the best option.

It might be easier to take that fitting to a machine shop and get the angle changed on the nipple...

Is there enough room below to bend the hose into a loop with the ends at the top going in opposite directions? Or would that mess up the flow of the fluid?

I talked to a guy at work, and he said you could use an exterier (cloth) braided heater hose or silicone hose, but that the silicone hose could kink if you're not careful.

Or like Rev posted, try this place.

I was on the phone with a few people that makes hoses and was told that heater hoses will be eaten away (dissolved) by the power steering fluid) I get all kinds of conflicting info.

Guy at work I talked to said that cheap hose will deteriorate over time, but that quality hose such as the above mentioned braided hose is rated for pressure, fuel, etc.

Is that line under pressure, doesnt look like it. Can you reposition the resevior somewhere else? Im sure an OG at a a shop could solve it. I still like the hose with the spring idea, but yes that is a tight fit.
