90 B12 sentra noise in front when turning

90 Nissan Sentra 2 door sedan, 5 speed, 267K miles, sometimes when I turn the steering wheel full lock I get a noise coming from the drivers side coil area, almost sounds like the coil is moving on the strut. I have fairly new KYB GR2 struts in front and recently replaced the top rubber mounts. I checked everything on the suspension and steering and there is no play in any of the parts. Also checked the coil and the ends are in the area that they are supposed to be in.

When I replaced the struts I did not replace the plastic part that that sits on top of the coil hat (not sure if that is the correct word), I did pay attention to the arrow on the top strut hat and it is installed correcly, car has been aligned since the struts were replaced.

I also notice when going over bumps that it seems like the same side makes more noise than the pass. side.

Any ideas on what it may be??
