Evidently it was one of the slower and heavier first models.

Heres a couple things to ponder.....

unless you have mods to the engine and trans, you car is simply not running a 13 second 1/4.. If you have the stock computer, i would say its impossible that you've broken into the 14s... maybe, but im not sure...

The car does also not weigh 4700 lbs, your only about 1000 lbs off... 9093 Q weighed around 3800

i stated that i was just bs'ing, and also on the manufacturer sticker on my inner door panel is said gvrw 4700 maybe those numbers are wrong on there, but thats exactly what mine said but thats besides the point, cany one help me with the production numbers ????

I've searched the web thoroughly and have not be able to find production numbers for the Q45, sorry. I once found a list of 90-96 Q45 production to be in the 50,000s/yr in the mid-90s, but not broken down by model, and I haven't been able to find it again. If you find it, please post it for the archives.

I HAVE seen the burgundy color appear on ebay every few weeks, but it's fairly rare, and the selection of used early Q45s is getting slim now.

ive seen it once on ebay, it was in reall good condition but it was just too far to actually go and buy, ive seen another one for sale at this webpage http://www.emilinc.com/1990%20Vehicles.htm . plus one problem with infiniti's on ebay, the sellers always want to much money for a decent kept car, n the lower priced ones are just horrid, if i bump into those numbers ill post them on here.. can anyone help me post a few video clips on here available for download ????

I thought that brian posted this somewhere, ubt i cant find it..... (the production numbers that is)

The number on the car is the weight of the car with its maximum weight... meaning that is the maximum the car will weigh assuming you have 5 people in the car and all their baggage.....

You can upload the vids to this site

Check the Infiniti cars/parts forum. There is a dark cherry burgundy one with a lot of good stuff done to it.
