90-93 Owners...how freakin good did this come out!!!

got the paint matched by Levenes, preped it and used brown panty hose for the speaker cover. i had to buy all kinds of other crap to mask the fact i was buying panty hose!!! but its a perfect match!!! ill get more pics when its in the car. im also doing the auto tint rear view mirror as well.

glad to see all the responses. yes buying panty hose makes me feel funny, and cvs was busy too!!! the pantys will be plenty stong i would imagine. its not like they will be going anywere. yes these are a pilars from a 94 96. the 90 93 did not offer them and i wanted em! so i made em! another personal touch! glad everyone likes them.and they better fit damnit! probably be in tomorrow, but its kinda snowy here!!!

That does look great. I thought about doing that also (along with the rearview mirror too). Are you hooking the speakers up the the stock BOSE system and how? What was the color name/code that you used for that brown? Thanks

the sender did not have the bose, but its not going to the original bose anyway. the color was a custom blend starting with a GM color: very dark seienna brown, then matched from there. i dont have the receipts with me but ill post it tomorrow. btw the color of the pany hose was off black, and i didnt use the part that goes down the leg. it was the parts that covers some sexy mamas phat arse! the brand was Leggs. i just covered the white speaker cloth cause the panty hose was too thin and didnt look right. i streched it just enough then stapled it down around the edges. then used hot glue to hold the grill to the a pillar because the tabs were to brittle when i tried to take off the press on tabs. still need to paint the other side and the mirror. its to cold n snowy to pull my car outside, and over spray is just gay!!!

yea its custom. i got some crappy one a while back j/k im working on adding my own touch to it tho. its gonna be hot!!! cant wait to show it off and brag how you made it all possible!

Looks really good. I was suprised at how well black spray paint matched my steering column cover when I had to replace the cracked one with a brown set from a salvage yard. Just like yours, you can't even tell it's been painted.
