Got a 94 Q45 with a bad headlamp relay. Problem: RH headlight will not come on about 95% of the time then comes on on its own all of a sudden.Anyway, went to junk yard today and pulled one of a 91 Q45. Brought it home all excited and saw that the connectors fit, so got even more excited. Went ahead and plugged it in, and notice headlight came on (without having the switch turned to 'on'). When I do turn the swith on, left headlight stays at high beam the right one at low beam. Question: Do I have another BAD relay unit or will the 90-93 relay not fit a 94 year??

Thanks

I would think that it's different, since the 94 uses a different bulb setup and has fog lamps vs. the 90-93.

That's what I figured. For now I put the old one back. I figured it was different although the connectors are exactly the same, I'm asuming the wiring inside is different.
