90-91+up bumper swap

has anybody ever swaped the 91+up bumper on to an 89-90 240sx? is it a straight swap or is there more than just the bumper itself to swap? ie absorbers..etc

I think the 90 is fugly

not a straight swap. You'll need the fender finishing pieces to make the 91+ bumpers flush to the fenders, drilling two holes for the fender mounting brackets. there's fitting to it. it's not direct but pretty close.

is that what you guys are calling a pig nose? the car in Axel Grungy post... that's what I want... my car has got an older style stepped bumper... It's a canadian model though maybe things are different up here. Anyways that's the nose I want, so is that hard to swap? from the type shown below?

those little pieces that fit on your fenders to make the 91 bumpers flush to the fenders. Those pieces are expensive new...I bought mine with the hook up for 110 each. Normal OEM price is about 155 each. They took a while to get but damn they look good with that fresh factory paint. *sniffs part* lol get em from a yard if you can, I couldn't find any at my local yards so I got hosed.

the only way a chuki bumper would look nice is when it has a lip like NeedCA18forS13's.
