Hi Everyone,

First i would like to say that I'm glad I can join the Z family and am new here. I just purchased my first z32 less than a month ago and man what a joy. Kinda hard to believe a car that is old enough that I can drink with, is more fun to drive then most 2009-2011 cars.

I've spent the last few weeks getting this red head into prime shape. All new belts, fluids, hoses, brake pads and radiator fan. I already know what I want to do with the exterior. Trying to re-create the 300zx GTZ or SMZ look ... reference: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2536752/1995-nissan-300zx

Now I want to increase the performance a little. I don't want to upgrade to TT yet, but have some ideas and wanted to get some feed back on parts/brands.

1) Intake - maybe K&N or injec high flow intake ... can I get away with single or should I get doolz?
2) Exhaust - I prefer dual tips maybe stillen or B&B
3) Maybe Chip ... is it needed if not TT?
4) Short throw - saw AMS makes one for around $75 and z1 motorsports has a nice one for $168 ... is there a big difference???
5) Read something about under drive pulley ... anyone know more about this or had success? weight reduction with higher rpms, but some side effects like lowers reliability?
6) Maybe Rotors and Calipers - if I did would be drilled and slotted ... also does upgrading from 26mm to 30mm make a huge difference and any potential issues?
7) strut/sway bars ... something affordable and reliable

That's kinda all I can think of for now ... open to other suggestions for parts and what you would do first. This would be roughly a 6 month project and I would try to do most of the work myself with a buddy of mine who is a mechanic ... within reason. Sorry for the long post, but clearly I'm excited ... thanks in advance.

"So I was having this dream..."

No, he actually meant the Z forum. This is General Chat, where we discuss BS and yo momma.

You need to scroll down the right side bottom of the web page and look at all the forums.

It's a generic joke that's a million years old.
Don't take offense. :)

No, it's just Dat. He is socially inept, but he means harm, honestly. ;)

Honestly, I was just saying we discuss "yo momma", not actually YOUR MOMMA. Understand?

Grow some backbone!

Damn no need to be all sensitive ... I was just bullshitting back about how old a "yo mama" joke was. No harm taken trust me. I actually got a good chuckle out of it and thought it was a great ice breaker.

And now for a bad joke to lighten the mood:

What kind of bees produce milk? ... Boobies
