with all you are saying there should be something starting. pull your sending fuel line. the one that does not go to the FPR. If it is good there should be fuel in it so you can just hook it back up.

If there is no fuel then pull the other one (the one on the end of the FPR and if your pump is working it will squirt a whole bunch of fuel in your face....If this happens switch the line and start your engine.

Also check your ignitor chip. But if you have spark it should be good. How did you check for spark? Have you pulled your spark plugs? What condition are they in?

Are all your vacuum lines in the right place? (this usually does not prevent you from starting unless they are very screwed up)

why did you start a new thread on this with the exact same thing when your first thread is still open and on the first page.

are there any funny noises or hissing sounds when you are trying to start? Is it turning over fast or is it struggling to turn over when it cranks?

I think he had started another thread elsewhere and a mod moved it back to RWD SR. I merged the threads and deleted the dupe post.

unless you have some vacuum issues, I dont see why you wouldn't be starting. double check to make sure everything is plugged up correctly. Double check the wiring on all of your idle sensors, MAF, IACV,...

if your timing is off you could have damaged your valves if you have been turning it over alot.

try the fuel line again...that is a common mistake...pull the line that is NOT connected to your fpr first. If it is dry and your fuel pump is working then you need to swap them. You will know when you pull the other line because fuel will squirt out.

Seems to me like there's somethings you're not checking because pretty much everything that's been stated is what is needed to start the motor. There's really not much else. I dunno if you're over looking something or what but it has to be one of the following issues. Compression, spark, or fuel. Thats pretty much all you need to start an engine.

What were your compression numbers? What fuel pump are you running?Whats the fuel pressure at?Have you tried checking the ECU for codes?Have you tried another ignitor? Are you sure you're getting fuel through?

Search up on Nico or other forums and DOUBLE check your vacuum lines. Also, look down into your cylinders through the spark plug hole to see if you've flooded the engine. Let the fuel evaporate.

hey instead of starting a new thread i figured i'd ask a question here.i put an s14 sr in my s13 and the boot at the end of the transmission isn't allowing the driveshaft to go in all the way. what did you guys do about this? i'm thinking about cutting the boot down to make it work

no, i prefer actually doing some work and then asking questions when i need to. i guess you aren't allowed to ask questions on forums anymore or something

compression i belive was 125-150 i think it was 125 thoidk which fuel pump but i kno it cant be stock because its loud as **** and it squirts fuel out like crazyidk what the fuel pressure it at. but when i pull the plugs out they are wet so i kno tht it is getting fuel... also now that have fixed the knock sensor harness when i try to start it, it back fires and sputters alot. i looked for codes on my ecu but there was no switch or led in the hole in the ecu.. it was just empty. i replaced the ignitor and i now have a bright blue/ white spark.
