recently got her started puttin in a new starter and battery, now the battery dies cuz of the alternator...and the car overheats while driving it on the new battery (before it died on the highway), wat would cause the car to overheat, it was getting barely any spark i think thats wat caused it wasthe alternator but do u think so ?

car revs up very slow , running very rich , wont even barely go sometimes.. especially when i floor it it seems like the engines just sucking up air and burning no gas , now power to the wheels at all really

Have you checked the fusible link for the alternator. My car did the same thing. I checked the fusible link visibly, but it didnt look blown. I went throught 2 alternators before I went back and checked the link with a tester and it showed that it was blown. I replaced it and the car ran fine.

Hey had a similar problem and couldn't figure out what was going on. Check your water pump, radiator, clutch fan, and your hoses. As far as it sucking up air check your EGR valve that could be the reason why you are getting no power. Hope this helps.
