The car has about 108,000 miles, 5spd...I checked the oil dipstick and for some reason the oil level was way above the 'H' mark. is this normal, is it bad for the engine if i keep driving like this? what could be the problem. Btw I didn't add oil to it at all it just happened recently.

I have the same model as you, and sometime it takes me a few tries to get the correct reading on my dipstick. Did you recently have the oil changed or change it yourself?

If you do your own oil, I'd suggest changing it and just filling it to the proper level.

Nah, last oil change was at 107k mi. and I don't change the oil myself.

indeed i do. I usually check it in the morning to make sure all the oil has settled overnight and get the most accurate reading.

assuming the oil was filled properly when it was initially added ,The only way the oil level can climb is if another fluid ads to it, typically its fuel. Are you having any drivability issues?

I see..well my injectors are leaking but even back then the oil level was still normal....As far as drivability, nothing seems out of the norm...Just wondering, how exactly can fuel mix with oil?

it washes down the cyl's and gets in the oil. You usually see this when a car is flodded. The fuel bypasses the rings.
