Just wondering why I could find either some tubing or cold air intake for the KA24E? Will the ones that fit the KA24DE work? Any advice is helpful! Thank you!

I convinced one to work with a jigsaw and a couple of couplers from parts store. You need to shorten the main runner (on radiator) and change the angle at the throttle body. Car has no emisions, so I plugged everything save the IAC.

Ka24de intakes will not work...The ThrottleBody is at a different angle on the DOHC ka's..Just mod the stock airbox and get a K&N drop in filter..Its cheaper and will get the same if not more HP gains as the cone filter will..

Do you have a link for modifying the stock airbox? I've been searching the archives...

Is there proof of this having the same if not more gains?

Cheers,

some work.. no that hard.... you just have to look at it and figure it out... im sure other people could do a better job than i did...

91-94 its a bit shorter and has a bit of a bend at manifold... oh i think the hardest part was putting in that damm censor. the one on the box.
