My rear right brake light stays lit whenver headlights or just parking lights are on. Don't know whats wrong. Cleaned connections. Don't know what to check really. My other ones work only when breaks are pressed. Anything helps thanks.

1) Checked/changed bulbs - easy way to check is to switch the bulbs from the working side over to the non-working side, and observe the behavior.

2) Which connections did you clean? The problem is usually located w/ the grounding wires melted into the plastic (at least in the coupe taillights). Needs to be undone, cleaned, and reconnected - those are located on the taillight near the bulbs.

3) If all else fails, time to bust out the voltimeter & make sure wires are emitting ground/power as they are suppose to (you can cross check w/ the working side).

ive been there done that with the brakelights man so i feel your pain...i went round and round with mine...its usually the passenger side tail light that will give you the problem...it melts...then shorts...pops the fuses and you get tickets...best advice...dont bother with trying to fix the melted housing...you will just get fustrated...ive been there...source a used but unmelted tail light housing or a new one and install fresh fuses and bulbs and you should be god...i hope this info has helped in some way...if it doesnt...then it will be an electrician visit in your future
