90 240sx Exhaust Question...

I just made a custom Exhaust system for my car and I put 2 1/2" piping from cat converter to the N1 Style 4" tip muffler. So basically it has no resonator. Will it be legal? and its hella loud too im affraid to be pulled over by cops... Is there any Exhaust sound limitation law? Thanks!

Im sure in your area Yes..Weld a Resonator on your piping..Maybe look into a silencer for the muffler..
