Its from the diff180fan wrote:It's coming from the diff on that side or is it flat out from the axle? Open diff as well?
I have coilovers, How can i fixed it if i have a bad spring?mr2lickit wrote:Clunking is a hard noise to distinguish haha. Ummmm it could be your springs compressing. I know this often happens with aftermarket suspension. If its a constant thump it could be a bad rear hub. If you accelerate hard (jab the gas) and you hear a clunk it could be your diff locking (which is normal). Besides that just make sure none of your bushings are going bad.
Ring gear?180fan wrote:on an open or vlsd it shouldn't make a clunk. When I put in my subframe bushings, I can clearly hear a clunk. I'm already certain it's from the ring gear getting worn which makes me want to go emo. I hope you don't have to go emo with me. *sets a box of razor blades and a hawthorne heights cd next to me*
