Recently I bought a '90 240sx, and of course the first problem it has was a slipped clutch. Almost immediately I bought a replacement a Stage 1 Exedy Clutch & a Fidanza Flywheel. I double checked they where for the ka24E version of the 240 purchased them and began install. This is my second clutch job, and like any job their where alot of complications along the way, but after it was all said and done with the transmission bolted back in the Clutch Fork will only go back a 1/2in. This makes it impossible to put in the slave cylinder.
So whats wrong? When I look inside the transmission it looks like the throwout bearing is simply hitting the clutch plate to soon, causing the fork to only go back a 1/2in, then it imovable. But im not sure what steps to take now?
