90 240 sx trans problem

I have 90 240 sx automatic car will not move in any position (R,D,2,1)anybody have problem like this!

just swap it out and put in another known working auto trans. People doing 5-speed swaps on the forums usually have working auto trans' lying around taking up space. the market price on auto trans for s13/s14 is FREE! I got one used off a member of a local northeast forum out of a 95 s14 with 150k on it and i put it in my 93 s13. the shop charged me $400 labor to do it just this past week.

It's a much simpler solution that figuring out what is wrong with your existing transmission.

At $400 for labor though, you may consider doing a 5-speed swap yourself. Good luck.

check the linkage and wire harness to the trans. make sure there is enough oil in it too. never hurts to check these few things before tearing it out. to damn cold to be outside pulling a trans....... IMO
