So my 1990 na with a 95 motor has developed a rough/jumping idle. I have tested for vacuum leak with a smoke machine, vac gauge and a boost leak tester on smaller components. My injectors are in spec as well as coils, ptu ie brand new, cas is functioning properly, I tested maf as well but still no luck. Compression is good. No codes. Has anyone ever seen this?

How did you test the MAF?
Have you tested the TPS?
Have you confirmed correct spark at all cylinders.
The FSM in my signature has a wonderful troubleshooting section, check it out.

I know this is old, but if anyone is having similar issue.

Turned out to be a bad alternator. It was overcharging at 18V+ (bad voltage regulator) and the idle jumps were jumps in voltage.
