Driving 6,000 miles per year means you are still subjecting the engine to 15k per year in exposure.
Unfortuntely many people just changed the oil ONCE per year instead of 4 times so the engine might act like it had 250k from wear and tear.
Thats so true. I hate to see people treat their cars like crap because they paid little to nothing for them not realizing that when the car was new, it was a flagship model. I once got into an argument with a G50 driver that I saw pumping 87 octane into his tank when 93 and 91 was available at that pump.
