9 Tickets in the last 3 years Cruise Control

With that being said, the apparent boredom that comes over me on long hauls(over 45 minutes), my apparent need for speed and the desire to remove all those stupid drivers on the road by putting them behind me....I must punish myself. Anyone wanna help me with fixing my cruise control. It used to work, now it wont. The light on the button on the left side of my steering wheel lights up, but nothing on my gauge cluster will. I cannot engage it only arm it(weid way to put it, like it is an electrocution chair). Any way where is the cruise control elec box. I know ther is that ball type thing with hooked to the throttle, but it seems to be electrical. Any help. It is a 89 coupe

Check your brake lights!

If one is out some systems will deny the cruise control to engage.

Also check the push button switches on the clutch and brake pedal's, they should make a little clicking sound.
