just thought i'd show you guys my latest mod....

the bulbs are SUPER bright and you can get them in white, blue, red, green, purple, and orange. they're about $20 a pair. 1 pair for the dome lights and 1 pair for the doors. i didn't replace the rear overhead lights because i turned them off since they don't stay on long anyway. they look great at night!!!! they make 4 bulb LEDs but the 9 bulb LEDs are much brighter. the part number of the stock bulb is DE3175. that helps to know when looking for these things. the covers on the dome light covers pop off with a small flathead. the door lights pop out with the cover. super easy. super cool.

Chad, where did you get the bulbs?

Thanks and it does look good. I've been debating making that change myself.

I'm interested in making the whole interior ice white and the door panel lights blue. Where'd you get these bulbs from?

I recently bought a pack of ice white bulbs from ebay and they were the same yellow color as the stock lights....I got ripped off.

Looks like a night club in there. You should get a disco ball as well.

I have the white ones in my G, and it made a HUGE difference in lighting. Worth every penny!

Is that link just for the 2 dome lights in the front or an entire kit for every light in the interior? 70 dollars for just the dome lights seems pricey.....

I'm tryin to white out the whole interior except for the side doors which i want blue, would like to do it all for about that price.

here's where i got mine from....http://www.eautoworks.com/html...2.cfmthey only have blue, though. then i found this guy on ebay....http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...41065he's got the colors and the cheapest price that i found for the 9 bulb leds. the price is for a pair. about $18.

i did notice one thing, though. it looks like they stay on just a little bit when the car's off. they're leds, though, so they're not taking much power and i only noticed it because it was dark outside. i'm not worried about it.

^^

How long do they stay on for??A minute is fine, but if you're talking much longer than that, I would maybe consider taking them out.

it appears that they're staying on all of the time but just barely enough to notice. like i said, LEDs take so little power that i'm not worried.... yet. we'll see. still looks awesome!

Hey Chad! Can you tell me how you got the door light off? I just received my leds and I changed the dome/map lights for the front and back, but I can't get the door light off. I tried using a flathead screw driver, since it worked for the dome lights but it won't come loose and I don't wana crack anything... Thanks!

i got my door lights off by going at it from the sides at the corner. my lights have a bottom and wrap forward and up. try it at the corners. you're actullay pulling out the entire light assembly and not just the cover so NO PULLING! don't worry, it'll pop out. go at it from the sides. any probs and i'll post pics for you.

post pics, too!!!!
