Im in the market for new wheels and i was thinkin of gettin the Rota P45R's all around because for one i want to be able to rotate my tires and two i like the concave look of the rear wheel versus the flat face of the front wheel. and i was plannin on goin 275/35-18 all around. Anyone ever done this before? I dont want to spend the money on the wheels and then get them on the car for them to rub? I am usign the car as a daily driver and am worried about the fronts rubbin in the front wheel wells when i hit a bump or soemthing. Has anyone had any experience with this case? Anyone ever heard of someone doin this?

Couple of questions:What size are the stock tires? I think the 275/35's are too big, but not sure if 255/35 or 265/35 is closer to the stock diameter.

What offsets do those P45's come in? I looked at these wheels a few weeks ago, but the site is down so I cant see what offsets they offer.

And welcome to NICO!

I dont know much about Z33 wheel fitments other than they can take some pretty big wheels. Nismo LMGT4 wheels come in 18x9.5 +30 and those can fit a Z, so you shouldnt have any problems.

As for tire sizes, even 275/35 is smaller than stock. I'd go with 275/40-18.

Unless you have TCS (traction control)... Ive read the Z's system likes to keep the rear tires taller than the fronts. If thats the case, you really should consider running a staggered setup with the 18x8.5" P45F's and 255/40 up front.

One of our mods, Exar-Kun has a Z33. Hopefully he'll pop in soon with some more info...

Chets running 18x9's up front and 18x10's out back. He should be able to measure for you to see if you can squeeze the extra .5 inch.

Hey,

you could squeze in a .5" extra on the front. Keep in mind the OD between front and rear on Z's is staggered, so you'd run a 275/35/18F and 275/40/18R to have the correct OD. If you're going for equal tire sizes F/R...make the front larger to decrease understeer via higher load index.

Be carefull running cheap wheels in a 9.5 on the front, the fender is factory rolled, but under compression my 9" wheel with a 265/35/18 comes close to rubbing, and if the offset was wrong it will easily cause problems.

Also, stock tires were 225/50/17 and 235/50/17 on the older Z33s. Newer are either 225/45/18F 245/45/18R or 245/40/18R 265/35/19R...

Enjoy!

-Chet
