9:1 for my setup? Looking for opinions here for 8.5 vs 9 cr for my build...yay or nay

To be built sr20
Pfc d jetro
Gt3071r high boost/ 9k rpm plus
Will not be daily driven

All opinions welcome

What kind of hp and boost numbers are you after? Are you planning on building the head also or just upgrading the bottom end?

25-30 psi.. looking to make 500. I have a ported/built head with 272 bc cams.

I'm running 9:1 in my car and enjoy the extra pep it gives the low end.
